This is another Modcloth dress and you may have seen it on Chloe in my Plus North photos. It is such a fun print and I love the collar. I wore this to show what I would be wearing on my little family holiday to a caravan at Ingoldmells last week.
The bag is like a timewarp back to my childhood when I had every colour of these bags and the shoes to match. This one is by
SunJellies who have been around since 1946! It was perfect for carting around all Franklins toys and bits.

I woke up in a terrible mood for no reason. Well there are many reasons that include frustration with doctors over my sons care but I decided to put on a new dress and bit of make up and turn my frown upside down. This dress is one of many I ordered from Simply Be recently but only kept a few.
I had seen this dress on the Simply Be instagram when it was first released but figured because of the tulip shape it would not work on me. Since it was a sale and free postage I took my chances and was happy that it fit and looked awesome!
It is the thick stretch cotton fabric that I love and as such makes a great Autumn/Winter dress! Being sleeveless I added my mint eyelash knit cardi that I picked up in the Primark sale last winter and pink leggings. I realise the pink leggings are a bright bold statement but thats the mood I was in and I will no doubt add some green/blue leggings that match the colours in the print for future wears.
The bust is a lovely sweetheart shape that I have never worn before. The tulip shape is loose on my hips and does make me look bigger than I am but I am fat and happy with that so No F**ks Were Given! This outfit had the desired effect of changing my miserable mood. Never underestimate The Power of Fatshion!

Happy Halloween! Ok maybe not exactly Halloween but close enough! So I ordered a couple of things from the
FDAvenue Curvy Collection recently after finding them on Instagram and this cardi was a must. Firstly the sizing of this is a 26 but is more like a 20/22. I can live with that as it is an open cardi with no buttons but quality...let me just say I have worn it once and the bobbles are out of control! It was cheap but still I want a bit better quality for me cash.
I made an order with the lovely Laura from
Charcoal Designs last week via her etsy store and I can not praise this lady enough!!! Her designs are amazing and quality is fabulous and brilliant customer service and care! You will see my ordered items soon but for this outfit I chose the Black Devil earrings, Lady with Skull Brooch and Cherry Necklace.
Can I just say that my order arrived in 6 days!!! That is faster than stuff I order from the UK!

This really is a Summer dress with it's Picnic cloth design and Ants! I am trying to get as much life out of my Summer dresses as possible plus it is nice to wear something so off season to remind you of those warm days. You may have guessed this is a Modcloth dress. They are brilliant for crazy and fun prints like this.
This one came with a belt and I have the same style in a few other prints. It had pockets and is fully lined. I love the Ants print and the cute Strawberry button detail down the shoulder. Leggings are now my everyday item since the weather has cooled and I don't like wearing tights. I have gone with some more New Charcoal Designs jewels! This amazing brooch and earrings are a perfect match for this dress.

Sorry for the bad quality pictures! I thought with the light it would have been better than this but sadly no. I have many Modcloth dresses now but this one may be my favourite! With its longer sleeves and beautiful irregular polka dots it has a vintage look to it.
With pockets and a good longer length on my 5'3'' frame it was perfect for my trip to Meadowhall this last weekend to meet some lovely ladies for shopping and food. I picked up some goodies that you will see soon! Keep an eye out for Modcloths free UK postage events and their amazing sales!!!!

This dress is another Modcloth one. I have put off wearing it as it is a shell type material that I was not sure about. I wore it today and actually it is quite warm and lined. I actually don't know why I was put off by it to start with because it has been nice to wear.
These glasses are new from ebay. They wear sunglasses and I am not a label person but I loved the shape and colour plus the price was good. I had them reglazed by my go to company for reglazing Specs-by-post. I posted them Friday and received an ebay invoice Monday morning which I paid then an email in the afternoon saying they had been posted already! They arrived Tuesday! This is why I love Specs-by-post! They are super fast and cheap! it cost me £10 for prescription lenses and £5.15 recorded delivery.
I picked up these shoes on my Meadowhall trip last week when I met up with fellow fat blogger friends Rebs of
Sullen_hearts and Claire of
AMonkeyFatshionista. I have never had glitter shoes so was quite excited to get these!

I found
Hello Sketchy on Instagram and fell in love with her beautiful artwork that she draws onto old china. She also does cards and art prints to frame! She has many brilliant designs to choose from and customise but will also do requests.
How cute are these cards! You could get a special card made for Christmas or a Birthday.
When I saw these name plates I knew I wanted one for my nephew Benjamin. I asked if I could get it as an A4 print to frame and it was no problem at all.
The communication was brilliant and I was asked every step of the way if it was looking like what I wanted. I was sent pictures of a sketch and then the final artwork to approve. I was over the moon with the sketch never mind the actual finished work.
These cups are just too adorable! I can see me placing another order soon!
These is so much to choose from! How beautiful would a set be! These are more for display than use. Special pieces to keep and treasure.
If you want something different from the usual high street gifts please think about getting original work from artists like Hello Sketchy and support such talent!

I had an exciting email last week informing me of a Simply Be/Jacamo Pop Up Shop in my local mall Meadowhall in Sheffield. I of course went straight there to check it out! It is upstairs and just along from the the Apple store. It was ever so lovely and had all the seasons essential party wear on show. So much sparkle and also lots of Winter warmers.
There is a large range of footwear and an intimates and nightwear section too. The fitting rooms are very large and well lit for those much needed selfies when trying things on. The staff were lovely and helpful as always with Simply Be.
I fell for this red leopard tunic/dress and have since ordered it as my size was I out of stock in store at the time. Waiting for it to arrive now.
Sheffield really needs a Simply Be and I hope it sticks around. It is planned to be there until January so make the most of it while it's here incase or goes in the new year.

This is my second kimono this year. Yes I am late to the kimono party! This beauty is from
Yours Clothing. I wanted an oversized look so sized up but I could have easily went for my usual size and still have had plenty room!
I was happy to find that the material had stretch. The golden flower detail on the shoulders, sleeves and bottom is very pretty and even the black has a flower pattern to it.
The top underneath is also from Yours Clothing. I sized up in this also and needed to as the smaller size was tight around my belly. Plenty room in the bust and has a turned up cuff on the short sleeve. I also purchased the green version!
The fabric is matt satin not stretch but does not crease easily which is perfect for the non iron owner (like myself). It also has side splits and dips at the front and back! Most tops are too short at front as my boobs pull things up so this was brilliant! I wish more tops were like this! I kept this look simple with black leggings and gold belt and have achived a vintage 1930/40s style.
You can grab yourself a bargain tonight until midnight with £5 off online and instore with code PRESENT

Party season is in full swing and I was looking for something special to strut my stuff in and turn heads. I came across this stunning
Rose Gold Sequin dress on the
JD Williams website. It is part of the range being favoured by fellow Scot and TVs Lorraine Kelly.
If you have not had a look recently at what JD Williams has to offer then I suggest you have a browse! There are some beautiful Party and Everyday pieces.
It is hard to style something so ornate and beautiful! The dress speaks for itself and accessories are not really needed.
The sequin design is beautiful and the dress has some weight to it! The fabric has a slight stretch and no zip so it is just slipped on over the head. The body is lined with a flesh tone stretch fabric but the sleeves are unlined. I think this is a nice design touch.
The high neckline means no necklace is needed and again the dress shines on its own!
I am 5'3" and the dress sits knee length on me so would be shorter on a taller frame. I really love this dress and have nothing but praise for it.
The dress is available
HERE in size 10-30 and is priced £95-105 depending on size.

Yesterday I made the trip by train from Sheffield to Birmingham Bullring to the
Yours store for a meet and greet with the stunning
Tess Munster.
You may know her for her brilliant
#effyourbeautystandards campaign of body positivity and self love. Tess is over in the UK working with Yours on promoting their plus size clothing range.
Franklin was as happy about meeting Tess as I was!
As always the
Yours team made everyone feel welcome and handed out badges and balloons which Franklin was excited about!
There were too many awesome Blogger Babes to fit in one photo!
Some of the Bloggers did this! Which was so brilliant! Everyone looks great in this dress! What would your colour combo be?
I got a bit of time to try on some things and loved these. I tried this jumper in a 26/28 but a 30/32 would look better on me for an oversized look. Link

This dress almost came home with me! It has been added to my Christmas Wish List. This is a size 24/26. Link

Halloween is not just for Halloween it can be for every day! I love anything Halloween rated! Especially clothes and was super excited to get this awesome jumper from
J.D Williams. It is not too thick or fluffy and can easily be worn with jeans or skirt. It is available in size
12/14 - 32/34. I tend to size up in jumpers as find then short because my bust pulls them up at the front. I am wearing the 28/30 and could have sized up again for a more loose fit. The length is just right for me. The pumpkin is so cute and I will be wearing this a lot this winter!
There are lots of winter warming knitwear available on the website just now and something to suit everyones taste! From fluffy cardigans and shrugs to argyle jumpers and Christmas themes. Aztec and plain wraps! Head over for a look at the full range from J.D Williams

Another Winter Warmer post for you here! Well it is the Season! This time I have gone with a more Festive coloured jumper. Although the theme is not really Christmas it still works and will last you through to the warmer weather. This cute poodle fairisle motif is quite retro but done in a classic style. This is a shorter length than my previous jumper post
HEREThis is another
J.D Williams knitwear item that will keep you cozy and allows you to layer up as the days and nights get colder. It is easily worn as an everyday item or would be just as suitable for any Christmas Party. I found it very hard to chose which knitwear to go with this season. There is just so much choice which you can see

Very recently a plus collection was added to the website and although their sizing has been said to be generous it still only goes up to a size 24 which is too small for myself and lots of other people.
Debz -http://www.wannabeprincess.co.uk had the idea to this link up. We want to let brands know that we want more choice! Extented sizes and s fat people want to spend our money on your clothes! Just give us the chance!
Also this is #HeresWhatIWouldHaveSpent on the straight size range if it was available in my size 26/28
Totalling over £200!!!

Saturday morning I got up early to go to Meadowhall for the
PSBloggers Christmas Meet organised by the lovely
Leah aka
StyleXL creator!. You might think we were crazy for going to a mall at the weekend this close to Christmas! I will not lie. It was packed.
It is hard to dress for Meadowhall at the best of times. I went for as light and comfy an outfit as possible as i always end up a sweaty mess walking around the place for hours. This is as casual as I get!
Keep an eye out for Franklin making his standing debut! He wanted in on the photo action. His outfit is not really up to scratch buy he wad just out of bed. I think he approved of mine.

We met at Starbucks and Leah handed out these brilliant marshmallows with our blogger names or logos on! They are by

Jane had the lovely idea of us all clubbing together a bit of money and we got leah this cute Rudolph and gift card for all the work she put into organising this day for us.
Leah took these photos while we were waiting for everyone arrive.
You might recognise some faces!
We were all given this awesome gift bag filled with goodies! The bag is really good quality and i will be buying a few more from the selection at

I am not much of a beauty product user but everyone seemed very excited about the Revolution Make Up & remover! I have had a play with the make up and can agree that it is defo something to get excited about! You can check them out at

After everyone arrived we headed to the food hall and all went in groups to various locations with the plan to meet up at
Simply Be for 2pm.
We were greeted by the super lovely staff and given bubbly to sip while we looked around and tried on things in out reserved changing cubicles. How fancy did we feel!
We were also given these lovely gift bags that included a perfume that smells good enough to eat!
I loved this velour flower print dress but sadly the store did not have much above a size 26 to try on and I feel I need the larger sizes.
I liked the metallic knit of this thin jumper but the shape was all wrong on me.
In
Evans I tried on this Scarlett & Jo dress and fell a little bit in love! It is was also available in maroon with a spotted mesh neckline but has sadly sold out on the website. My lovey hubby has bought me this black version for Christmas and 8 can't wait to wear it.
In
Yours I picked up this cute nightdress and some under garments that I will blog about at a later date.
After a long day of shopping and socialising I finally gave in to my tired feet and empty wallet and went home to see my boys.

If you don't already know! I am a massive costume fan! Halloween is a perfect chance to dress up as someone/something else but there are also lots of New Year fancy dress parties these days.
Plus Size Lingerie Boutique may not seem like a place to look for such wears but they actually have a large Plus Size collection of costumes as well as Lingerie. The company is based in the USA but they deliver all over.
I ordered the Snow White costume in a 4x which I would say is about a UK size 22/24. The fabric is stretchy at the back so I managed to squeeze my size 26 body and 42jj bust into it and the laced section on front I loosened to make it more comfortable. If you have a small bust this will not be an issue! I just have massive boobs that are hard to fit into anything. There was plenty room in the belly department!
This is straight out of the packet on my body! Please excuse the creases but I don't own an iron. I should probably get one really. This is such a cute outfit and I can't wait to show it off!
You can check out all the costumes on offer
HERE. As you can see there is so much choice and such fun and sexy pieces all at great prices.

I have really struggled to find a coat this Winter. The boyfriend shape seems to be featuring heavily and I love it but it just does not fit my shape. I need a shorter jacket or a fit and flare style. When I saw this beautiful Tapestry
Joe Browns Jacket in
Simply Be it was love at first sight. I like the use of the flower pattern tapestry to make the harder look of the Biker jacket style more feminine.
I expected the fabric to be quite stiff but it is rather lightweight and soft and fully lined so still cozy enough for the chilly days. I also have to mention the cut is spot on! The sleeve length and shoulder fit perfectly! I find this is the case with most Joe Browns outerwear. I should have sized up for a better body fit since I have expanded recently due to baby stress. Hopefully 2015 will see me stress free and shrink back to my former size and this won't be a problem.
These pictures really do not do this coat justice! Being Winter the light is terrible and weather is so bad outside this is as good as I could get after three tries!

I have been looking for a fluffy eyelash knit cardi that is short and red and will go with dresses for the colder months. I finally came across this little gem from
J.D Williams and knew I had to have it! I went for my usual size 24/26 as I wanted a snug fit and it is perfect. The colour is more of a Poppy red which is also another bonus for me. Although it is also available in black, cream and a silver grey and sizes
12/24 - 28/30.
the sleeve length is not too short and not too long. As with all eyelash knit it is super soft and cozy. I will get so much wear out of this cardi and have to admit I am considering getting the other colours too.
If you buy one cardi this winter then this should be it! You will not be sorry!

This outfit is what I wore to do some last minute Christmas shopping at Meadowhall or MeadowHELL as some call it at this time of year.
It is always super warm shopping there but it is pretty cold getting there so I decided to wear this sleeveless dress and cardi combo. It was actually perfect as i only started to overheat just as I was finished shopping.
The dress is a stretchy material but quite odd and the Tartan is printed onto it. I am not sure how well this will wash. Update later. It is quite short even on my 5'3" frame. The cardi is from Primark last winter but I got it at one of the Leeds Plus Size Clothes Swaps. (Sheffield Swap in March! Details to come)
My hubby snapped these shots just before I left and Franklin wanted in on the action.
